Foster + Partners Lusail Stadium Qatar
Lusail Stadium will play a major role in the 2022 FIFA World Cup to be held in Qatar from 20 November 2022 onwards, and in the future of the city of Lusail. Ahead of the whistle for the start of the major world sports event, the stadium, designed by Foster + Partners, hosted the Lusail Super Cup final on 9 September between Al Hilal SFC, champions of the Saudi Pro League, and Zamalek, winners of the Egyptian Premier League.

Foster + Partners new Apple store in London
The new Apple Store was recently opened on Brompton Road in Knightsbridge, the famous London neighbourhood that includes the Victoria and Albert Museum, as well as the two department stores Harrods and Harvey Nichols. The project, designed in collaboration with the Foster + Partners architecture studio and the Apple Design Team, aims to offer visitors an oasis of tranquillity and calm in this hectic and bustling area of the city.

The World Architecture Festival 2022 has unveiled the list of finalist projects that will be presented from 30 November to 2 December in Lisbon, Portugal. Following the festival’s well-established formula, the finalist architecture firms will present their projects live to the jury and the audience of colleagues attending the event.

Le Dôme, a new winery designed by Foster + Partners, is intended to blend seamlessly with the natural and cultural landscape of Saint-Émilion, France, a medieval village among the vineyards of Bordeaux, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Cultural Landscape.

Foster + Partners’ Datong Art Museum opens
The new "Datong Art Museum" designed by Foster + Partners opened recently, providing a new “urban living room” for this ancient city in the far north of the Chinese province of Shanxi: a sculptural construction that emerges out of the ground with a series of interconnected pyramids surrounded by landscaped plazas, concealing the exhibition spaces of the main gallery underground.

The Foster + Partners architecture firm has designed Narbo Via, the new museum of Roman antiquities in Narbonne, France. The museum was recently inaugurated and is set to become a new important landmark in the landscape, as well as an entrance to the city with a sober architectural monumentality.

A gateway connecting the university with the city: this is the purpose established for the new Safra Centre for Brain Sciences, designed by Foster + Partners in Jerusalem. The decorative sunshades on the façades visually represent the connections between neurons, whilst the local stone used is the link with the Israeli landscape.

Symbiosis with nature, a green neighbourhood in Bangkok
Attention to the environment is the foundation of future urban development. Precisely for this reason within The Forestias, in Bangkok, one of the largest real estate development projects in Thailand, we find an urban forest covering 48,000 square metres of space. Here, the Forest Pavilion shows the future neighbourhood and will subsequently be converted into The Forestias Ecosystem Learning Centre for sharing knowledge of the forest ecosystem.

Foster + Partners designs Apple Bağdat Caddesi - Istanbul’s Apple store
Apple Bağdat Caddesi, inaugurated on October 22, is the third Apple Store in Turkey located in the lively avenue from which it takes its name, just a few steps from the sea in one of the busiest areas of Istanbul, a popular destination for shopping and international tourism. The project is the result of the collaboration between the Foster + Partners architecture studio together with the Apple design team, closely reflecting the concept that characterises all of the company’s stores.
