- Masquespacio eco-friendly branding and interior design in Oslo
To emphasise the eco-friendly and artisan features of Andalusia for a restaurant centred on a brand of organic Andalusia wines, in the backdrop of Norway’s capital city.
The mission for the new project by Spanish creative studio, Masquespacio of Ana Milena Hernandéz Palacios and Christophe Penasse was ambitious, but the visual marketing skills of these two creative designers are really clear in the results.
The approach of Masquespacio was to base the venue on the concept of storytelling, weaving the essential elements of Norwegian design – white-painted natural wood walls and ceilings, solid oak floors – with the food and artisan culture of Andalusia, in an innovative, tempting story.
The thoughtful fusion of different references – traditional wrought iron grates of Andalusia, in this case painted white, tiles, baskets, handmade lamps – injects design harmony into this attractive venue. Plants abound, providing a link to the green soul of the Cortijo El Cura winery, and the cushions are custom designed by Masquespacio.
Masquespacio sets off the Vino Veritas project in Oslo with branded objects, for all-round Visual Communication, venturing beyond the new frontiers of architecture – image-based – a relevant point of discussion in contemporary architecture debate.
