Agnese Mazzei Architetti designed the interiors of a luxurious resort in the Abetone ski district, creating spaces with an Alpine flavour using neutral colours and stone.

Agnese Mazzei Architetti, interior design in the spa Warm atmospheres and timeless elegance are the basic concepts inspiring the interior design project by Agnese Mazzei Architetti for a resort in the Abetone ski area. The project includes the resort’s common areas - the hall, reception area, fireside hall, lounge, restaurant and spa on the ground floor, in addition to various different kinds of rooms and duplex apartments on the upper levels. The architects came up with a mixture of minimalism and classic decor using neutral colours and natural materials such as wood and stone which ideally and visually link the resort with the mountains around it, emphasising the facility’s primary goal of offering wellbeing. The designers turned to a more severe style in the spa area, with its lounge all in white as if dug into the ice, leading to a swimming pool which is half inside and half outside, with views of the surrounding landscape through a glass pyramid.
