The winners of the Tuscan Architectural Award

There are five winning projects, one for each category, and eight special mentions for the first edition of the Tuscan Architectural Award, PAT. The awards ceremony took place on 6th July at the Palazzina Reale, home of the City of Florence Architects’ Association, where there will be an exhibition dedicated to the Award, open until 23rd July.
The PAT is only aimed at projects completed in Tuscany in the years 2012 – 2017, and the first edition saw 150 projects in competition, from which twenty were selected for the final phase.

The jury underlined how the winning projects represent the social role of architecture, and the fact that intelligent planning can promote urban and territorial regeneration, even with a small budget.
