Atelier Zündel Cristea Paris metro expansion
Atelier Zündel Cristea and Architram architectes have designed four new metro stations extending line 14 of the Paris metro toward the town hall of Saint-Ouen to the north. The project involved a number of difficulties connected with the need to work at considerable depths below ground in areas of high urban density involving the simultaneous presence of a number of different construction sites.

Roland Baldi Architects redesigns the Collalbo station square in Bolzano
The Roland Bald Architects studio has redeveloped the Collalbo station square in Bolzano. The intervention is an integral part of the new Collalbo Mobility Centre, also designed by the same studio, offering a welcoming square as a new showcase for the popular tourist resort in the Dolomites.

Zaha Hadid Architects new metro stations in Dnipro
Teatralna, Tsentalna and Muzeina are three new metro stations in Dnipro designed by Zaha Hadid Architects which will connect the eastern districts with the centre of the Ukrainian city and with Dnipro-Holovnyi railway station, the city’s main railway terminus. Construction has just begun and is due to be completed by 2025.

The winners of the AIA New York Design Awards 2022
AIA New York has announced the winners of the 2022 Design Awards. Divided into four categories – Architecture, Interior, Projects and Urban Design – and selected by an independent jury, the 25 winners are projects carried out in the city of New York or in other parts of the world by New York-based architects. The local AIA New York chapter, in fact, is the oldest and largest section of the American Institute of Architects. Founded in 1857, it includes 5500 practicing architects, associated professionals, students and public members dedicated to architecture and design.

SOM designs Daniel Patrick Moynihan Train Hall in New York

The project was designed by architecture firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) inside the historic James A. Farley Post Office Building. A monumental and important civic project that transforms the way millions of people interact with one of the world’s largest cities, reimagining the travel experience and restoring the grandeur of a historic complex.
