OOPEAA: Church, parish centre and social housing in Tikkurila
A project created thanks to the combined efforts of the parishes of Vantaa, the Lujatalo construction firm and the architects at OOPEAA has resulted in the unusual combination of a parish centre with social housing. The landmark, with its zig-zag profile and brightly-coloured bricks, also includes a new civic centre for the area of Tikkurila, just outside Helsinki.
