Urban renewal and green retrofitting are the keys to Triptyque’s RB12 project in Rio de Janeiro. Triptyque’s RB12 office building in Avenida Rio Branco is part of the “Porto Maravilha” project commissioned by the City of Rio for the 2016 Olympics.

RDLP Arquitectos’ Torre San Pedro in Mexico
RDLP Arquitectos designed the new Torre San Pedro in San Pedro Garza García, south of Monterrey, Mexico. The Torre San Pedro’s ventilated façade, designed by RDLP Arquitectos, is a special product by Iris Ceramica Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti, distributed by Versitalia, the local branch of the Italian group.

a year of exhibitions at SpazioFMG

ANMA: Hexagone Balard defence department, Paris
The French Department of Defence has a new home, Hexagone Balard: a 163,000 square metre complex in the 15th arrondissement in Paris. Designed by ANMA, Agence Nicolas Michelin & Associés, the complex brings together parts of the defence department that were formerly scattered around the city in a monumental building with a green heart.

MVRDV Glass office 133 Wai Yip Street Hong Kong
MVRDV has transformed number 133 Wai Yip Street, Hong Kong into a completely transparent office building. The architects stripped the building down to its primary structure and left it in view, then used glass to make all the furniture and even equipment such as computers and speakers.

KAAN Architecten Supreme Court of the Netherlands, The Hague
The new Supreme Court of the Netherlands in The Hague designed by KAAN Architecten opened on April 23. The building’s foyer features the painting “Hoge Raad” by Dutch artist Helen Verhoeven, commissioned specifically for the Supreme Court.
