KAAN Architecten Supreme Court of the Netherlands, The Hague
The new Supreme Court of the Netherlands in The Hague designed by KAAN Architecten opened on April 23. The building’s foyer features the painting “Hoge Raad” by Dutch artist Helen Verhoeven, commissioned specifically for the Supreme Court.

Diesel Living and Iris Ceramica at Design Week Milano
On April 13 SpazioFMG per l'Architettura inaugurates the exhibition “COME IN, WE’RE OPEN”, the world premiere of the new Diesel Living with Iris Ceramica collection of floor and wall coverings, part of the Diesel Living project implemented in partnership with other companies including Moroso, Foscarini, Scavolini, Berti and Seletti.

Construction of Estúdio 41’s Ferraz Station begins in Antarctica
Estúdio 41 Arquitetura’s project won the design competition held by the Brazilian Architects Institute in 2013 for reconstruction of the Brazilian research centre in Antarctica, Comandante Ferraz Antarctic Station. Construction began on February 29.

UNStudio Le Toison d’Or homes and shops in Brussels
UNStudio recently completed a project in Belgium: Le Toison d’Or. The building, constructed in Brussels in partnership with Belgian studio Jaspers-Eyers, is a block construction for mixed residential and commercial use.

KAAN Architecten Renovating a Public Building
The Dutch firm of architects, KAAN Architecten, signed and committed to a project for the renovation of a public building from the 1970s. The challenge taken up by the architects was to recover the original spatial quality of the building and adapt it to contemporary needs.
