MAD Architects Cuntan International Cruise Centre Chongqing
By 2027 Chongqing, China will have a new cruise centre featuring the futuristic Yangtze River Skywalk designed by architect Ma Yansong and his studio MAD to welcome tourists from the adjacent cruise terminal on the Yangtze River. MAD Architects, in collaboration with the China Academy of Building Research (CASR), have won the international competition for the design of the Cuntan International Cruise Centre in Chongqing.

Powerhouse Company designs Çanakkale Antenna Tower
In western Turkey, in an elevated position not far from the historic city of Çanakkale, the Powerhouse Company architecture studio has designed the Çanakkale Antenna Tower, in collaboration with Inter.National.Design (IND). The project is a unique and strong architectural gesture, consisting of a ring-shaped path which, climbing up above the trees, offers panoramic views of the city and culminates into a tower reaching up towards the sky.

Speaking about the Mausoleum of the Martyrdom of Polish Villages in Michniów, Mirosław Nizio says that seeing the photographs of the houses on fire left him with the visceral feeling that he had been transported back to the time of the Nazi massacre. This was the starting point for his design for a memorial.

MoDusArchitects Mobility, Architecture and Landscape in infrastructure design
MoDusArchitects planned the expansion of the Bressanone-Varna ring road, including a sculptural new portal forming the gateway to the city of Bressanone, in the province of Bolzano. MoDusArchitects’ project reduces the volume of traffic at street level by creating an alternative route composed of interconnected roads which are largely underground, offering a model that might be replicated in similar projects in many other small towns.
