MC A – Mario Cucinella Architects recently completed the Church of Santa Maria Goretti in the heart of Pollino National Park, CEI 2011 Pilot Project winner. The Church is a monolithic white volume 16 metres high, dominating the town of Mormanno, with only a few simple elements of the façade recalling the Christian tradition.

Miralles Tagliabue EMBT Le Pavillon of Romainville

The transformation of the new centre for cultural life in Romainville, a municipality in the metropolitan area of Paris, is now complete. The project by architect Benedetta Tagliabue and her studio Miralles Tagliabue EMBT in partnership with French studio Ilimelgo Architectes brings new life to the little Palais des Fêtes building, transforming the whole area into Le Pavillon, a cultural complex connected with the city, the new garden and the nearby forest.
