The winners of the International Architecture Awards 2021
The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design announced the winners of the International Architecture Awards 2021 on August 17th. The awards are offered for buildings and landscape interventions completed anywhere in the world between 2019 and 2021. The award ceremony will take place on September 10th in Athens, Greece, while “The City and the World”, a traveling exhibition dedicated to all the winning architectures, will visit various European cities during 2022.

Emerging architects - The winners of the Europe 40under40® Award
The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies and The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design have announced the winners of the 2020 edition of the "Europe 40under40®" Award. The challenges associated with the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic have not hampered the recognition reserved for young European architects and designers. An award that looks to the future, in search of new emerging figures in the field of architecture and design: 40 professionals under the age of 40, who best represent the European architectural scene.

Sergei Tchoban wins the 2018 European Prize for Architecture
On September 28 in Athens, the birthplace of western architecture, the 2018 European Prize for Architecture was presented to Russian architect Sergei Tchoban.

International Architecture Awards presented in Athens
75 buildings have won International Architecture Awards from the Chicago Athenaeum and the European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies. The awards ceremony is scheduled for September 8 in Athens.

Documenta14 in Kassel. 100 days for contemporary art
After Athens in April, documenta14 opened on 10 June 2017 in the historic city of Kassel, Germany, the birthplace of this contemporary art exhibition held every 5 years.

documenta14. Learning from Athens.
For the first time in the history of documenta - the famous contemporary art exhibition first held in 1955 in Kassel, Germany - two cities are hosting the event on an equal footing: Athens (Greece) from 8 April to 16 July and of course Kassel from 10 June to 17 September 2017, lengthening the traditional duration from 100 to a mighty 163 days.

RPBW Cultural Centre Stavros Niarchos Kallithea Foundation
The Cultural Centre operated by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation, designed by Renzo Piano Building Workshop in Kallithea (Athens) and inaugurated in the summer of 2016, was presented with the ENR 2016 (Engineering News Record) Global Best Projects Award in an awards ceremony held on October 12 in New York.
