Next Landmark 2016 Awards Ceremony at FAB Berlin

In 2015 the Sarotti – Höfe building, a former chocolate factory, became FAB Architectural Bureau Berlin, an exhibition space operated by Fiandre, Ariostea and Porcelaingres. In this elegant location in the heart of Berlin’s Kreuzberg district, the awards ceremony of the fifth Next Landmark international contest promoted by Floornature in collaboration with IUSVE was held on November 16, followed by a casual evening event.

For the occasion, FAB Architectural Bureau Berlin appeared to the public and to winners of the Next Landmark contest with a new installation that transforms it into a true cinema with very special screens: big slabs of Maximum Fiandre Extralite®. Announced by the members of the jury present at the event, Nicola Borgmann and Ken Schluchtmann, and presented by Paolo Schianchi, editor-in-chief of Floornature, the contest winners are: Giancarlo Mazzanti – Colombia (Landmark of The Year), Jessica Tozzi and Alessandra Lomanto – Italy (Research), and Martina Berger Garioni – Italy (Photography). Images of the winning projects and the finalists in each of the contest’s three categories - Landmark of the Year, Research, and Photography – were projected in a loop on big Maximum Fiandre Extralite® slabs.
