The 75 works selected for the Barbara Capocchin International Prize will be on exhibit in Padua until February 13 2012. As in past editions, a prestigious international architect has been commissioned to design the "Architecture table", a dramatic backdrop for exhibition of the works selected by the competition jury.

The 2011 table is designed by architect and designer Michele De Lucchi and made by Ar.Te.

The table measures 24 metres long by 2.5 metres wide, is made entirely of fir and weighs 4500 kilos. 20 book stands supported by a light mesh structure of jointed boards hold images of the prize-winning projects.
Michele De Lucchi says that "The geometry is inspired by a bridge: and so the Table “ferries” the chaotic present toward a better future for the city".
