Stones, marbles and granites are only a few of the timeless solutions that continue to play a key role in interior design as the year 2022 draws to a close.
Their expressive power, ductility, variety and ease of matching have always been their most widely appreciated qualities, along with their timeless look conveying a sensation of power, resistance and durability.
But these aspects are not limited to aesthetic considerations only, as will be evident in the case of high-tech ceramic
.
.
The most popular material among architects and design fans in recent years, ceramic combines technical and aesthetic qualities in a product that continues to amaze with all its beneficial qualities, capacity for innovation and strong dose of experimentation.
In this sense, it is worth noting the impact on the market in recent years of lightweight, resistant ceramic maxi-slabs measuring up to 300x150 cm. These materials eliminate the interruptions caused by grouting and expand the perceived size of spaces, while offering numerous solutions for indoor and outdoor surfaces characterised by light weight and easy installation.
Then there are full-body slabs making the product adaptable to a variety of design solutions, responding to the need for contemporary design in which performance and tradition are blended in a single concept.
With its Ultra maxi-slabs, Ariostea has been a landmark on the international ceramics market for many years now. In line with the vocation of the Iris Ceramica Group, of which it is a top brand, Ariostea continues to explore new solutions for contemporary living, as recently demonstrated at Cersaie 2022.
At the most recent edition of the principal trade fair in the industry, Ariostea presented a number of new surface coverings in line with the principal design trends of 2022.
The gallery here presents the new Ultra Fragmenta collection, the maxi-slab version of the full-body ceramic slab of the same name, for new applications of today’s uninterrupted surfaces.
Beauty, technology and hand-crafting tradition come together in a single product available in three colours, Bianco Greco, Grigio Luminoso, and Nero Ombrato.
Ultra Fragmenta surfaces are delicate and sophisticated, with a warm, neutral background embellished with randomly distributed patches of various shapes and subtle speckling in a similar or contrasting hue.
Another new proposal from Ariostea is Ultra Graniti, a collection of four new surfaces underlining the character of a classic natural covering material.
Alaska White, Celeste Aran, Deep Norway and Labradorite stand out for their power, elegance and refined originality, making them ideal for domestic atmospheres in a variety of different styles, from the most classic to the boldly contemporary, as well as customised items of furniture.
Examples include the bold character of Alaska White, with its warm, intense hues standing out against a bright background, for a bold, distinctive colour combination, and Celeste Aran, the result of "the encounter between movement and freshness", for a truly natural artistic creation.
