Zaha Hadid: Form in Motion
Until March 25 2012 visitors to the Philadelphia Art Museum can admire the work of Iraqi architect Zaha Hadid, the first woman to receive the renowned Pritzker Architecture Prize in 2004.

Timothy Rub, George D. Widener Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, underlined how Zaha Hadid explores and takes advantage of the most advanced production technologies and techniques to create a new vocabulary of space and structure in both architecture and design.

Zaha Hadid has designed a sculpture-like structure for the exhibition to display examples of the furniture, decorative objects, jewellery and shoes designed in recent years.
Complex, fluid geometries establish a strict balance between the objects on display and the space containing them, even though they are made out of different materials: wood, steel, aluminium and polyurethane.
