UAD designs new Museum and Library in Jiashan, China
UAD – The Architectural Design & Research Institute of Zheijiang University Co., Ltd. – has recently completed a new cultural complex in Jiashan, China. The city is an eco-friendly and green development demonstration area in the Yangtze River Delta, thus playing the important role of a laboratory for implementing new architectural and social solutions.

UAD presents the international campus of Zhejiang University in China
UAD is an architecture firm founded within Zhejiang University itself in 1953. It has over 1400 employees, some of whom have recently designed and built the university’s new international campus. The campus - situated between Lake Juanhu and a lagoon park - is designed in a neoclassical style which tends to vary from one block of buildings to the next, with the dark red brick as the common characteristic element connecting them all. A multifunctional space of excellence where students and professors alike can live and pursue their studies and research.

The Shuyang Art Gallery by UAD a showcase for traditional calligraphy
The Architectural Design & Research Institute of Zhejiang University (UAD) has designed an art gallery which focuses on traditional Chinese calligraphy in Shuyang, China, the birthplace of this art. The striking materiality of this architecture is set off by the three fundamental colours of Chinese calligraphy - black, white and red.

A new convention centre at the Zhejiang Geospatial Information Industrial Park, Deqing
The Architectural Design and Research Institute of Zhejiang University (UAD), China, directed by the architects Zhenling Wu and Bing Chen, designed the permanent site for the United Nations Geospatial Information Management Forum in Deqing County, as part of the Geospatial Information Industrial Park.
