Wood Works 2022: what can we learn from trees?

“There is a forest in my backyard but my house is built from trees grown far away”. This is the title chosen by the Estonian curators, b210 Architects, and the Irish curators, Alder Architects, of the travelling exhibition entitled Wood Works, paying tribute to the "secret life" of timber in architecture, promoted by the Estonian Association of Architects, the Estonian Centre for Architecture and the Irish Architecture Foundation. The exhibition is currently at the Solstice Arts Centre in Navan (Ireland), and will be at the Tallinn Architecture Biennale in September.
