A finalist in Floornature’s first “Next Landmark” international architecture contest, the Bundesoberstufenrealgymnasium, a secondary school designed by franz zt gmbh, is a carbon-neutral building on the Deutsch-Wagram school campus in Austria. It is constructed in the form of two blocks embracing a pond which provides a visual focus for the project, while the rooftop terrace and free areas with informal seating create a concept of contemporary architecture for education.
