On a small plateau with a marvellous panoramic view of Jostedalsbreen glacier in western Norway, continental Europe’s biggest glacier, Snøhetta recently completed a new shelter for walkers. The shelter, commissioned by the location chapter of the Norwegian National Trekking Association, is composed of a series of pentagonal constructions perfectly adapted to the harsh mountain climate.
