The refined, elegant atmosphere of the interior design of the Pànto – Rooftop Boutique Rooms by architects Gianluca Puccio and Andrea Collodoro of PuccioCollodoro welcomes tourists in the old town centre of Palermo, only minutes away from the historic Vucciria market and Piazza San Domenico. The rooms are located on the top floor of a newly renovated historic building, and the minimal design of the interiors, underlined by the light and carefully planned down to the tiniest detail, offer an interesting contrast with the melting pot outside.

PuccioCollodoro Architetti, a Minimalist-Pop project for Melania Caruso Flagship Store
Architects Gianluca Puccio and Andrea Collodoro, founders of PuccioCollodoro Architetti studio, masterminded the interior design for the Melania Caruso Flagship Store. Located in a 1970s building in Palermo’s historic city center, the architects created what they define as Minimalist-Pop, a balanced fusion of geometric precision and elegant explosion of color.

PuccioCollodoro Architetti interior design of Gran Cafè Torino in Palermo
Gran Cafè Torino was completed recently in an important historical building constructed in the 1920s near Palermo’s central railway station. PuccioCollodoro Architetti interprets the Liberty style characteristic of the neighbourhood with contemporary materials and forms in the interior design of the coffee shop. The concept developed by the architects was intended to give this historic Palermo neighbourhood an elegant “city lounge”.

Studio Didea creates the interior design for two offices in Milan and Palermo
Two interior design projects were recently completed in Milan and Palermo by the Studio Didea architecture firm. The projects included the renovation of two apartments now used as offices. The first one, located in a modern building near Piazza del Duomo in Milan, was transformed into the headquarters of a financial consulting firm. The second is a typical residential apartment located in a building in Palermo built in the 1970s and now transformed by the architects into the Studio’s headquarters.

Manifesta 12 Education Hub, ENORME Studio
The Spanish architects from ENORME Studio, together with the Design and Fine Arts students from the University of Palermo worked on the transformation of an old bus that used to connect the centre of Palermo with Mondello beach into a mobile hub that supports Manifesta 12 initiatives linked to the training programme throughout the city.
