East Dike, protection for the Shenzhen coastline by KCAP+Felixx

Since 2019 a team of Dutch architects from architecture and urban planning studio KCAP and landscape architects from Felixx have been working on the east coast of Shenzhen, China. The East Dike project is a multifaceted dike system allowing an integrated approach to climate-adaptive reorganisation of the shoreline.

Droogbak building in Amsterdam, a perfect fusion of past and present

A historic 19th-century building near Amsterdam Central Station, the Droogbak, has been transformed into a contemporary office space. Commissioned by Allianz Real Estate, the KCAP architectural firm, together with the ABT consulting engineers, carried out the spatial transformation of the listed building. The interior design of the structure that houses the Clifford Chance law firm was completed by Fokkema & Partners.

Zuiderzicht, a sustainable tower designed by KCAP and evr-architecten in Antwerp

KCAP, in collaboration with the evr-architecten studio, have completed Zuiderzicht, an 80-metre-tall residential tower in Antwerp, Belgium. The tower is one of the new buildings in the Antwerp Nieuw Zuid district along the Scheldt river and stands out for its iconic double façade and close dialogue with the surrounding environment.

KCAP and Zecc Architecten design new Kade Noord residential complex in Zutphen

Dutch architectural firms KCAP and Zecc Architecten have completed the design for a new Kade Noord residential urbanisation in the Noorderhaven Zutphen development area, a town located about 30 km north-east of Arnhem. This sustainable district, conceived from the reconversion of an industrial area, develops around a large green courtyard inspired by the local landscape.

The Gustav by KCAP, the good life in the city

KCAP Architects&Planners has completed a residential complex in the Zuidas district of Amsterdam. The campus consists of two buildings grouped around a semi-public courtyard that ends up being an extension of the homes and focuses on the tenants’ wellbeing with superior outdoor spaces.

The Student Hotel in Delft, sustainable accommodation by KCAP

The international design firm KCAP has designed the latest destination for The Student Hotel in Delft, The Netherlands. The building located centrally near the Nieuw Delft Intercity train station is a new meeting place in town where people can stay, work and study‎‎-and it received ‘BREEAM Very Good’ certification too.
