Film-Obrasdearquitectura: Santa Rita home

In the Santa Rita residential district in Buenos Aires, Film-Obrasdearquitectura’s single-family home is based on the model of the residence with swimming pool, terrace roof and direct access to the garden from the interior. The home pays homage to Guatambù wood, the material used in the flooring of the entire ground floor and the massive staircase which is the fulcrum of the home.

Cano Briceño: La Semilla home in Jiutepec

The La Semilla home in Jiutepec, Mexico is a project for integration between the natural and built environments that makes it impossible to identify the boundary between landscape and interior: the vegetation surrounds the building and the building is designed on the basis of the vegetation. Glass and cement reinforce the concept of living without barriers and without spatial definitions.

BP: duplex homes in Paris

In 2011 an eight-level apartment building was constructed in Place de la Bastille in Paris, designed by BP Architecture. The project is characterised by the façades: the wall over the square is a glass sunshade, while the side walls are made of modular panels with variable inclinations and coloured inserts.

Andrade Morettin: long house in San Paolo

The sober concrete house designed by Andrade Morettin in Avaré, 240 km from San Paolo in Brazil, is a minimal expression of architecture in nature: the work draws a line in the landscape, along which the rooms are arranged, and another line perpendicular to it for the portico and the living room. The swimming pool nearby reminds us that we are in Brazil and this is a holiday home.

LAN: student residences in Paris

LAN architecture of Frances uses materials to characterise a student housing complex in the La Chapelle district of Paris, next to the redeveloped ZAC Pajol area. The themes of integration and privacy are addressed along with reduction of energy resources, earning the work Habitat et Environnement THPE certification in France.
