Three winners of the 2022 Wolf Prize in Architecture

Architects Elizabeth Diller, founder of Diller Scofidio + Renfro, and Momoyo Kaijima and Yoshiharu Tsukamoto, founders of Atelier Bow-Wow, have been named as the winners in the "Architecture" section of the 2022 Wolf Prize, an award presented by the Wolf Foundation since 1978.

Regeneration of Pirelli 39 awarded to Diller Scofidio + Renfro and Stefano Boeri Architetti

January 28 saw the presentation of the project by Diller Scofidio + Renfro (DS+R) and Stefano Boeri Architetti, winners of the international architecture competition announced in November 2019 for regeneration of the real estate complex at Via Pirelli 39. The project is part of a plan for redevelopment of a vast area, practically a whole city district, which began with Gioia 22 and will be completed in the years to come with projects for the Pirelli 35 and Gioia 20 buildings.

Diller Scofidio + Renfro designs US Olympic and Paralympic Museum in Colorado

On July 30, the US Olympic and Paralympic Museum designed by architecture firm Diller Scofidio + Renfro was inaugurated in Colorado Springs, US. The museum is a tribute to all Team USA Olympic and Paralympic athletes. Its shape allows visitors with and without disabilities to access the exhibition galleries, following a single continuous spiralling pathway and sharing a common experience.

Five years since The Broad opened in Los Angeles

Designed by Diller Scofidio + Renfro in collaboration with Gensler, The Broad is a contemporary art museum in Los Angeles that opened in September 2015. The LEED Gold-certified architecture is launching celebrations for its fifth anniversary by naming its outdoor plaza for its long-time Leading Partner, East West Bank.
