C+S Architects and BALANCE Architettura winners of the Festa dell'Architetto awards

The C+S Architects studio, founded by architects Carlo Cappai and Maria Alessandra Segantini is the "Italian Architect 2022", while the BALANCE Architettura studio, founded by architects Alberto Lessan and Jacopo Bracco is the "Young Talent of Italian Architecture 2022". The jury, chaired by Portuguese architect Goncalo Byrne, also awarded four special mentions to the Bricolo Falsarella associati, Carlana Mezzalira Pentimalli, Ceresa Architetti and Atelier Poem studios.

C+S Architects designs urban regeneration project of the former Royal Cavalry Barracks complex in Tervuren, Belgium

The project designed by the C+S Architects studio for the urban regeneration of the former Royal Cavalry Barracks complex in Tervuren, Belgium, has received a green light. The project designed by the Italian firm received all the necessary authorisations and work is expected to begin shortly on the restoration of the historic complex immersed in the centuries-old park, together with the development of new residences, offices and services for the local community.

C+S Architects carry out an urban intervention for Piazza del Cinema in Venice Lido

The C+S Architects studio redesigned Piazza del Cinema in Venice Lido by restitching together all the original elements that created and characterised the urban space, as well as rearranging the façades, the internal halls and a number of installations housed in Palazzo del Casinò. The project was awarded the German Design Award 2020 in the Urban Space and Infrastructure category.

Italian architect and young talent in Italian architecture of 2017

Caravatti_caravatti architetti has been named Italian Architect of 2017 and Elisabetta Gabrielli is the Young Talent in Architecture of 2017”. The awards ceremony was held at Maxxi museum in Rome on December 2, during the “Festa dell'Architetto”.
