The plan for renewal of Jamia University, founded in 1930, included three main projects: a cafeteria, an art gallery and a garden, all awarded to Romi Khosla Design Studios.

Romi Khosla Design Studios, Jamia art gallery The architects of Romi Khosla Design Studios were appointed by the vice-chancellor of Jamia University to build a new campus cultural centre including an art gallery, a canteen and landscape design. The architects imagined the gallery as not just an exhibition area but a meeting-place and form of expression for students, who can use it for their own personal exhibitions. The facade is simple and lightweight, made of white metal louvers contrasting with the dark marble of the nearby cafeteria. The gallery includes three exhibition spaces and two studios available to artists on temporary visits to the campus.
