I MENDINI ARCHITETTI TESSITORI EXHIBITION

Trieste,

Ville, Gallery, Museums, Sport & Wellness,

Exhibition,

The exhibition on the work of the Mendini architects is the first in a series of initiatives intended to get young people involved in reflection on architecture and development of design creativity to be held in the former Valdagno incinerator, where Atelier Mendini created a permanent installation for the roof.

I MENDINI ARCHITETTI TESSITORI EXHIBITION “ I MENDINI ARCHITETTI TESSITORI is the name of an exhibition, the warp and weft of a way of thinking about man and nature, with a colourful, optimistic vision that seems to want to send a new message” thus designer Elvilino Zangrandi, exhibition curator and installation designer, sums up the choice of the title and explains the exhibition concept. A dramatic installation dominated by “colour”, featuring 10 projects and 10 colours chosen directly by the architects of Mendini studios to guide visitors to the exhibition. The exhibition showcases international projects by architects Alessandro and Francesco Mendini: from “Paradise Tower” in Hiroshima to Groningen Museum in the Netherlands, from the swimming centre in Trieste to the former Valdagno incinerator.
