An interior design project focusing on the theme of “food” in a prestigious villa in the Veneto, preserving its compact original volume.
FPA Franzina + Partners architectural studios recently completed an interior design and renovation project in Villa Pampado, a prestigious 17th century villa in the Veneto on the Brenta Canal, the principal waterway linking Padua with Venice.The project centres around the contrast between the old container, preserving its original compact volume, and the modern interiors. The architects designed customised furniture and accessories, all centring on the theme of "food", in line with the hotel?s classification as a "Relais Gourmand".
Guests come up against the culinary theme everywhere they go in the hotel, and are invited to enjoy different experiences in the hall, such as the steel structure covered with white leather forming the long, sinuous seat across from the small refrigerated cases: suspended cubes of clear glass containing the products for the day?s tasting, to be contemplated as if they were works of art.
