Event: Tallinn Light Biennale, November 24 – December 1 2013
November 24 through December 1 2013 the centre of Tallinn, Estonia, hosts the Tallinn Light Biennale, an event that brightens up the darkest part of the year with light installations and PLDA workshops.
After the Tallinn Architecture Biennale, the capital city of Estonia hosts the first Tallinn Light Biennale November 24 through December 1. The city centre and the old town become the stage for numerous light installations created by light artists from all over Europe, brightening up the fall season.
The packed programme of events includes not only the official opening of the installations on November 29 but a number of workshops between the 24th and the 28th organised by PLDA (Professional Lighting Design Association) on subjects ranging from architectural lighting to multimedia walls and light photography.
