In the year when we are celebrating its 20th anniversary, Floornature, the international architecture and design portal of the Iris Ceramica Group, confirms its commitment to inform, document and reflect on the rapid evolution of the architectural landscape, while also paying close attention to the important implications of climate change on the sector.
On the occasion of COP26, the "26th United Nations Climate Change Conference" to be held in Glasgow later this year, Floornature is the media partner of the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership - University of Cambridge, and of the Future Spaces Foundation think tank created by Make Architects for the Building Natural Connections webinars.
Anticipating the themes of COP26, the webinar series invites us to explore different perspectives offering answers to an important question: “How can we leverage the interdependence of nature, society and economy to provide solutions for a sustainable built environment?”
A series of three live-streamed talks will explore different points of view, from the world of business, politics and finance, to the academic and civil society domains, offering solutions to the triple “climate, nature and human wellbeing” crisis.
September 29 – “Changing climate, changing culture".
October 6 – “Banking on bio-resilience”
October 13 – “Unlocking social value”
