Casa en línea exhibition by Isidro Blasco for Moneo Brock Exceptional artist Isidro Blasco brings together photography, architecture and sculpture for artworks that reproduce our everyday space. “Casa en línea” is a response to the basic needs of living, being exhibited at _2B (Space to be) in the Moneo Brock architecture studio in Madrid.

With “Casa en línea”, Spanish artist Isidro Blasco has created a special installation for _2B (Space to be), an exhibition space inside the studio of architects Belén Moneo and Jeff Brock in Madrid. A studio-gallery where a range of artistic disciplines meet and mix.

With his art, Isidro Blasco aims to influence our perception of the space and how we observe it, giving us new tools for thought.

So he has made “Casa en línea” a journey through sections of the building detail. The installation showcases all the surfaces and elements of a house that we take for granted - rooms, floors, corners and ceilings.
He fragments them and shows them in a linear succession (hence the installation's name), giving us a whole new perspective and lines of sight. The way we look at the space around us changes, we become more aware, so we get a better understanding of the design work that lies behind the actual building.
As Isidro Blasco says, “My work recreates the architectural space of the whole or a particular section of the build space according to a subjective perception of this environment.”

“Casa en línea” opened at the end of February and you've got until 27 March to see it at _2B of architects Belén Moneo and Jeff Brock in Madrid.
