The Es Hotel in Rome and the Sheraton Hotel in Milan are among the buildings mentioned by the scientific committee at the 7th PIDA International Architecture Award in Ischia to justify their decision to present the Award for Lifetime Achievement to King Roselli Architetti.
The architectural practice founded in 1997 by Jeremy King and Riccardo Roselli is currently working on a renovation and interior design project in Palazzo Montemartini, near the Diocletian Baths in Rome, which is to become a luxury hotel, and the Sheraton Hotel near Milan’s Malpensa Airport.
The jury in the PIDA Award particularly appreciated the presence of a constant theme running throughout all of King Roselli Architetti’s work: striving for high architectural quality through quality craftsmanship and industrial production with study of the close relationship between materials and new technologies.
