Workshop 2 Interactive Surfaces FAB Architectural Bureau Berlin

On January 27 and 28 FAB Architectural Bureau Berlin hosts architects:
Chris Middleton, Kinzo, Berlin,
Ritz Ritzer, bogevischs buero, Munich,
Jan Theissen, AMUNT – Architekten Martenson und Nagel Theissen, Aachen/Stuttgart,
Petra Vondenhof-Anderhalten, Anderhalten Architekten, Berlin,
in partnership with architect Volker Halbach and curator Sally Below for Workshop no. 2, "Interactive Surfaces".

The workshop will completely transform the exhibition space at FAB Architectural Bureau Berlin, the gallery and showroom opened by the Italian company Fiandre in Berlin. The process began with the first event in the series, Light Surfaces, which closed in October 2015 and set the standard of the new scenario for the Sarotti-Höfe space focusing on the potential and versatility of Fiandre’s ceramic products and maxi-tiles.

The basic concept introduced by the team at the first event has been developed further with the aid of Prof. Christiane Sauer, Formade/Lüling Sauer Architekten, Berlin, who provided contributions regarding materials and surfaces.
The results will be unveiled to the public on January 29 at an evening event which also includes a conference held by Lilli Hollein, Vienna Design Week director and curator of various architecture and design events.
