A video documents all the stages in Workshop no. 2 Interactive Surfaces, the second in a series of events transforming the exhibition spaces at the FAB Architectural Bureau Berlin, the gallery and showroom operated by the Italian company Fiandre in Berlin.

Volker Halbach (blauraum) and Sally Below (sbca), curators of FAB Architectural Bureau Berlin, received architects Chris Middleton (Kinzo, Berlin), Ritz Ritzer (bogevischs buero, Munich), Jan Theissen (AMUNT - Architekten Martenson und Nagel Theissen, Aachen/Stuttgart) and Petra Vondenhof-Anderhalten (Anderhalten Architekten, Berlin), the workshop participants.

Due to problems related to agreements with the owner of the space, the transformation planned in the first workshop could not be completed on time. Wilk-Salinas Architekten, in charge of the renovations, therefore made a full-scale model of the surface being built and projected it onto the space using light installations.

The ideas that emerged in the workshop were explained to the public and to the curators of the exhibition space on Friday evening, followed by a presentation by Lilli Hollein, director of Vienna Design Week, and entertainment with Italian music.
