Hashim Sarkis named Curator of the 2020 Architecture Exhibition at Biennale Venezia
Hashim Sarkis takes over from Yvonne Farrell and Shelley McNamara. The architect of Lebanese origin was appointed by the Biennale di Venezia Board of Directors on December 18 as Director of the Architecture Section specifically in charge of curating the 17th International Architecture exhibition coming up in 2020.

Map Studio named Italian Architect with Orizzontale as Young Talent of Italian Architecture in 2018
Francesco Magnani and Traudy Pelzel’s Map Studio has been named Italian Architect of 2018 for the Tramway Terminal project in Venice, while the Orizzontale collective has been awarded the Prize for Young Talent in Italian Architecture for its 8 ½ Project in Rome.

At 15:30 on October 19th, the Italian Pavilion hosts a meeting between its curator Mario Cucinella MCA and architectural studios Batlle i Roig Arquitectes of Spain and Harari Landscape Architecture of Mexico. Vatican Chapels: a visit to the Holy See pavilion at the Biennale di Venezia

It is a scattered pavilion, composed of ten chapels and an entrance pavilion, hosted by the Giorgio Cini Foundation in the park of the island of San Giorgio Maggiore, in Venice.

The Holy See pavilion at the Biennale di Venezia
For the first time, the Holy See will take part in the International Architecture Exhibition of Biennale di Venezia, with a special pavilion created on the isle of San Giorgio Maggiore.
