Kengo Kuma: new Hongkou Soho offices in Shanghai
Kengo Kuma has given the city of Shanghai his new reflection on the theme of the skyscraper. In his recent Hongkou Soho office tower, Kuma experiments with the concept of architecture as dress, in search of dynamism and lightness. The structure of the Hongkou Soho is covered with an aluminium mesh of vertical elements.

Guangzhou CTF Finance Centre 2 Skyscraper, China
At the end of 2016 the CTBUH updated its ranking of the world’s tallest skyscrapers. The Burj Khalifa in Dubai still tops the list, but there is a new building in fifth place, Guangzhou CTF Finance Centre in Guangzhou, China’s second tallest skyscraper.
