A new era is about to begin for Shenzhen, the Chinese metropolis which aims to become an important cultural centre with ten new buildings designed by prominent international studios such as Zaha Hadid Architects, SANAA, Jean Nouvel, and Sou Fujimoto. These prestigious names are now joined by Miralles Tagliabue EMBT, the studio led by Benedetta Tagliabue, winner of the international design competition for the creation of the city’s new Conservatory of Music.

Miralles Tagliabue EMBT Le Pavillon of Romainville

The transformation of the new centre for cultural life in Romainville, a municipality in the metropolitan area of Paris, is now complete. The project by architect Benedetta Tagliabue and her studio Miralles Tagliabue EMBT in partnership with French studio Ilimelgo Architectes brings new life to the little Palais des Fêtes building, transforming the whole area into Le Pavillon, a cultural complex connected with the city, the new garden and the nearby forest.
