Zaha Hadid winds the RIBA 2016 Royal Gold Medal
Architect Zaha Hadid will be the first woman to receive the Royal Gold Medal, the prestigious prize awarded by RIBA to architects “whose work has promoted either directly or indirectly the advancement of architecture".

Steven Holl and Lake|Flato Architects for the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston
The plans for expansion of the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston have been unveiled. Architect Steven Holl came up with a masterplan for the entire campus and designed two buildings, while Lake|Flato Architects designed the conservation and restoration centre.

Mostra David Chipperfield. Sticks and Stones.
The Neue Nationalgalerie in Berlin, the museum designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, is hosting the exhibition titled “Stick and Stones. An intervention”, David Chipperfield’s reflection of the materials used in this historical building and alluding to the future construction site.

Mies Van der Rohe Award for David Chipperfield
The museum in Berlin designed by David Chipperfield has won the Mies Van der Rohe Award – EU Prize for Contemporary Architecture. The award will be presented on June 20 at the Mies Van der Rohe Pavilion in Barcelona.
