Molecure Pharmacy by Waterfrom Design

We are in Taiwan. After three generations, an important family of pharmacists decide to revolutionise their activity, changing the connotations of the word ‘pharmacy’. The result is Molecure Pharmacy, designed by Waterfrom Design, which combines nature and technology and has nothing in common with a traditional pharmacy.

Tchoban Voss Architekten Expoforum congress and exhibition centre

Expoforum Congress and exhibition complex has been completed in Saint Petersburg, designed by architectural studios Evgeny Gerasimov and partners, Tchoban Voss Architekten and SPEECH. The pavilions in the centre are covered with Graniti Fiandre’s Maximum ceramic slabs, decorated with vintage prints showing views of Saint Petersburg.

Basel: innovative contemporary architecture and design

Basel, a city built in a loop of the Rhine, becomes a temporary museum during two annual international art and design events, Design Miami Basel and Art Basel, during which an infinite series of events and installations takes place in the city’s most beautiful modern buildings. Such as those built by Herzog & De Meuron, who say that a building’s surfaces should have something to do with what happens inside the building, and that the architect’s task is to give this relationship material form.

House VDV by Graux & Baeyens, a contemporary Flemish farmhouse

In their study of the roots of the contemporary home, Graux & Baeyens architecten offer their own interpretation of a traditional Flemish farmhouse in House VDV in Destelbergen, Belgium. In House VDV Graux & Baeyens do away with the dormers and skylights and redesign the rectangular volume to create a zig-zag shape embracing the greenery around it.
