Robert Majkut’s design concept for the Warsaw branch of a major bank was to create an abstract, futuristic space for corporate clients; a completely
free space with no walls. The architect noted that there was no special area for corporate clients or specific instructions in this regard. All this made the space anonymous, devoid of character or particular identifying elements on the basis of which to give form to the bank’s image and establish an
emotional relationship of fidelity or sympathy in customers. The project isolated the building’s original structure and simple, rectangular geometry, building a space within it with
inclined walls. Great importance is assigned to customer reception, with a large room offering various comforts with custom-made furnishings and lights, all in the bank’s colours.
