Another award for Morphogenesis, which became the first Indian architectural practice to win the World Architecture Festival (WAF) Awards in 2009.

Architects Sonali and Manit Rastogi of Morphogenesis have been awarded the SIA-Getz Architecture Prize for Emergent Architecture in Asia.

The prestigious award is presented every two years by the Singapore Institute of Architects (SIA) to an architect or architectural practice that has made a significant contribution to modelling the continually developing Asian landscape. The judges underlined how Morphogenesis' work is strongly rooted in Indian culture and in local climatic and social conditions, drawing international attention to Indian architecture and setting an example for young Indian and Asian architects.
