L'Aquila Reconstruction Show

The first Reconstruction Show dedicated to restoration, technology, building quality and bio architecture will take place in the province ofL'Aquila around 2 years after the terrible earthquake and aims to offer support to the rebuilding process in the area, through a packed programme of events and conferences.

As part of the event, there will be an exhibition of works competing in the first edition of the architecture design award;A’da, Architettura d’Abruzzo”.
The award is in recognition of the most important works completed in Abruzzo in the last ten years. An itinerant exhibition and a catalogue will contain works that have won the award. The first stop of the exhibition and the awards ceremony will take place in L'Aquila in October 2011.

The Reconstruction Show is a showcase for architects and sector professionals to discuss current themes in contemporary building.
Iris Ceramica will take part in the event by presenting its main collectionsPiasentine, Quarziti, Brilliant, Ocean, Marmi Imperiali, Rays, My wall and E-wood. There will also be an info display point dedicated to Active Clean Air & Antibacterial Ceramic™, an innovative Iris Ceramica and GranitiFiandre antibacterial and anti-pollutant production process.
The GranitiFiandre stand will showcase a practical application of tiles produced using the Active method. The floor will be made of Taxos Extreme Active tiles, while the ventilated wall will use stone effect porcelain gres Ceniza Extreme.
