Cucinella, Tonelli and Feist, Intelligent Construction at Klimahouse 2015

The tenth edition of Klimahouse, the trade fair for sustainable construction organised by Fiera Bolzano in partnership with CasaClima, opened in Bolzano on January 20.
The event will conclude on January 30 and 31 with an international convention on “Intelligent Construction” with the participation of prestigious speakers such as architect Mario Cucinella, who researches environmental design and sustainability in architecture and is a tutor in team G124, set up by architect and senator Renzo Piano to work on reclamation of Italy’s suburbs.
Another speaker will be architect Chiara Tonelli, researcher and university professor, team leader in the RhOME for denCity project, a prototype for sustainable living which won the international Solar Decathlon Europe competition in Versailles, France in 2014.
Professor Wolfgang Feist, internationally renowned as the “father of the passive home”, scientific director of the “Low-cost passive homes committee” and the European pilot project CEPHEUS, will also speak at the event, which will be completed with technical discussions and testimony from architects working on construction of energy efficient projects, including architect Andrea Viganò, a partner in Cino Zucchi Architetti.
