TNA Architects GINZA NATSUNO building
TNA Architects of Japan has built a tall, thin building for a well-known maker of traditional Japanese dishes and chopsticks.
The building?s thin, elongated shape was an imperative for the architects, as the available lot measured only 5 by 8 metres.

The structure is made primarily of steel, with exposed pillars and girders and a more or less compact arrangement, depending on the static requirements of the architectural project.
The steel girders not only serve a structural function but are also useful for displaying the items on sale on all 11 floors of the structure.

The boundary between building and city is dissolved by cladding made entirely out of milk-white glass, like a huge shoji: the translucent panel dividing the rooms in a traditional Japanese home.
