Farewell to Richard Rogers
Internationally renowned Italo-British architect Richard Rogers passed away on December 18. His emblematic high-tech projects such as the Millennium Dome and Lloyds of London, or the Centre Pompidou designed with Renzo Piano in Paris, have altered the skylines of numerous cities.

AIA 2019 Gold Medal awarded to Richard Rogers

A new Maggie’s Centre opened recently on the grounds of Christie Hospital in Manchester. Designed by Foster + Partners, the centre is a cosy home with a garden for cancer patients undergoing treatment at the hospital.

Spanish International Architecture Prize 2015
CSCAE has awarded the Premio de Arquitectura Española Internacional (Spanish International Architecture Prize) 2015 to Soulages Museum, to the plan for the new Louvre in Lievin, France, and to the Gran Agadir Master Plan.

Reiach and Hall Architects, Maggie's, Lanarkshire, Scotland
The architectural studio Reiach and Hall Architects designed the Maggie's Cancer Caring Centre, a residence which offers comfort and support for cancer patients in Airdrie, Scotland. The project was selected by the RIBA jury and shortlisted amongst the six finalists of the Riba Stirling Prize 2015.
