Balkrishna Doshi wins the 2022 Royal Gold Medal
Indian architect Balkrishna Doshi, winner of the 2018 Pritzker Prize, will receive the 2022 Royal Gold Medal, one of the most important international architecture awards, presented annually by the Royal Institute of British Architects, RIBA. RIBA Stephen Lawrence Prize 2021 goes to Tonkin Liu Architects’s Water Tower
An abandoned structure in Britain’s Norfolk County has been given new life thanks to Tonkin Liu Architects’ project transforming it into a holiday home for photographer Dennis Pedersen and his family. The Water Tower project, winner of the RIBA Stephen Lawrence Prize 2021, preserves all the elements of the original structure and reuses elements of the construction that had to be removed.
