De Castillia 23 receives the CTBUH 2022 Award of Excellence

The De Castillia 23 complex redeveloped by Progetto CMR has received the CTBUH’s 2022 Award of Excellence in the “Best Tall Building under 100 metres” category. The redevelopment project involved use of Active Surfaces® ceramic slabs from Fiandre Architectural Surfaces installed on a Granitech® ventilated façade system.

Research and development in architecture in Iris Ceramica Group events at Fuorisalone 2021

Fuorisalone 2021 week is here, and with it the packed calendar of events included in the Iris Ceramica Group’s "The New Dawn of Architecture" programme. September 7 and 9 will see the event “Innovare per competere: ricerca e sviluppo in architettura”, two events for young architects under 35 organised in partnership with The Plan magazine, while the event SEVENTYONEPERCENT will feature a meeting with designer Paolo Castelli on September 8.

The New Dawn of Architecture: Iris Ceramica Group at Fuorisalone 2021

The Iris Ceramica Group participates at Fuorisalone 2021 in Milan with a packed programme of workshops and meetings featuring prestigious names in architecture, design and furnishings. September 4 through 10, the Group’s Flagship Store in the very popular area between the Cathedral and Piazza Cordusio, right in the city centre, hosts an exhibition entitled "The New Dawn of Architecture". In a series of workshops, events and meetings, important architects and designers, such as architect Massimiliano Mandarini, designer Paolo Castelli, and studios Park Associati and Progetto CMR, discuss the future of the industry.

CMR project: De Castillia 23 Milano for Urban Up of the Unipol Group

With the technical assistance of Fiandre Architectural Surfaces, Progetto CMR has transformed a building in a historic neighbourhood in Milan into a building in the vanguard of sustainability. De Castillia 23, the new office complex designed by Urban Up, employs Active Clean Air & Antibacterial Ceramic™ technology for façade coverings.
