In discovery of the work of Pritzker Prize winning architect Shigeru Ban

Seventh Japanese architect awarded the Pritzker Prize in 2014 An unusual but important itinerary to discover a different side of architecture. Shigeru Ban, winner of the 2014 Pritzker Prize for architecture, is known as the architect who works with cardboard, bamboo, cloth, recycled plastic and paper by-products and locally available materials. Innovation and empathy: architecture which is designed not to make a profit but to respond to humanitarian causes. In the words of Renzo Piano, who became the second Italian architect to receive a Pritzker Prize for architecture in 1998, “architecture is a service, an art that makes things we need”
