Cersaie, International Exhibition of Ceramics for Architecture and Bathroom Furnishings
From September 27 to October 1 in Bologna, the trade fair district will host the 38th edition of Cersaie, the International Exhibition of Ceramics for Architecture and Bathroom Furnishings. An international event of great prestige that is finally able to welcome back visitors in person after the stop imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic. This year’s edition will host many important guests including architect Shigeru Ban, winner of the Pritzker Prize in 2014.

6 Architizer A+Awards special prizes
Architects Odile Decq, David Adjaye, Tatiana Bilbao, Carlo Ratti and Koray Duman have received the Architizer A+Awards special prize at a gala ceremony in New York on 11th May. The DJI Drone was also named product of the year.

Odile Decq and Jeanne Gang are among the winners of this year’s Women in Architecture awards
The Architectural Review magazine has announced the winners of this year’s Women in Architecture awards. Jeanne Gang has been named Architect of the Year, while Gabriela Etchegaray has been awarded the Moira Gemmill Prize for Emerging Architecture, architect Odile Decq has won the Jane Drew Prize, and Julia Peyton-Jones, co-director of London’s Serpentine Gallery, has won the Ada Louise Huxtable Prize.

Angela Deuber has won the third arcVision Prize – Women and Architecture
The winner of the third arcVision Prize – Women and Architecture was announced on March 6: architect Angela Deuber. A special prize goes to Paula Nascimento with honourable mentions for architects Kate Otten (South Africa), Patama Roonrakwit (Thailand) and Samira Rathod (India).

arcVision Prize Women and Architecture and Women for Expo
Architect Odile Decq attended the presentation of the arcVision Prize, Women and Architecture. The third edition of the competition established to draw attention to women in architecture included announcement of an agreement with WE-Women for Expo, an Expo Milano 2015 project for building a worldwide network of women focusing on the Expo theme: Feed the planet.
