TAO: Museum of Handcraft Paper
To design the Museum of Handcraft Paper, a building preserving the memories of the artisan community in the village of Xinzhuang in southwest China, architect Hua Li of Trace Architecture Office (TAO) studied not only local building techniques but the traditional way of working with paper, and used both in a work symbolising the culture it showcases.

Libeskind: Dresden Museum of Military History
The renovated Dresden Museum of Military History is now Germany’s biggest museum. With about 20,000 square metres of exhibition space, it is Daniel Libeskind’s last deconstructivist building. A synthesis of sculpture and architecture, it is a huge arrow wedged into history, a volume without orientation perforating a building, generating intertwined paths.

Allied Works Architecture, Clyfford Still Museum
A museum of the works of American artist Clyfford Still, designed by Brad Cloepfil of Allied Works Architecture, opened recently in Denver.
