In Principio (e poi) - Studio Azzurro Room, Vatican Museum
The Studio Azzurro Room is a Renaissance hall in the Vatican Museum renamed recently in honour of Studio Azzurro’s interactive video installation In Principio (e poi). The famous artists’ collective used MaxFine porcelain slabs by FMG Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti in the installation, making them part of a work of art in one of the most symbolic sites of world culture.

The Smithsonian National Museum of African American History & Culture
The new Smithsonian National Museum of African American History & Culture designed by the Freelon Adjaye Bond/SmithGroup association of studios is built on the spot where Martin Luther King made his famous “I have a dream” speech on August 28, 1963. The building plays an important role in recalling a part of American history at a time when racial issues are back in the news once again.

Dorte Mandrup New Danish Wadden Sea Centre Esbjerg
The sculptural architecture of the recently inaugurated Wadden Sea Centre in Esbjerg, designed by architect Dorte Mandrup, is the gateway to the Danish part of the Wadden Sea, a section of coastline in northwest Europe which was made a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2009 for its natural value.
